CIEH Level 2 Award in Catering Training Course

1 Day Course followed by multiple choice examination.

Due to changes in legislation; business catering environments are now required to comply with having their staff trained to CIEH Level 2 award in catering. This replaces the original CEIH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene.  Anyone who is working within a food environment must now hold this qualification. 

During this course; you will cover.

- Food Premises and Equipment
- Cooking (with hot holding and reheating )
- Food Safety Hazards.
- Legislation
- Temperature Control
- Refrigeration
- Food Handling Principles of safe food storage
- Chilling and Cold Holding
- Cleaning

Staff handling food will be given a firm understanding of the importance of food safety.  In addition; knowledge of procedures included within logical systems.  Following completion, the candidate will gain the self-assurance and skill to deliver quality food safely to their clienteles.

We specialise in training groups of candidates at the client's own or we can arrange a local venue. We can also provide open courses for individuals to attend at local venues.

Please note: You will are required to take a refresher every 3 years.
